FLUSHFIX® should be fitted using LA CLUSIENNE-CLUFIX oleopneumatic crimping tools. Use of a specific anvil matching the selected FLUSHFIX® diameter is imperative.

FLUSHFIX® installation settings

In order to guarantee optimal FLUSHFIX® installation, three key parameters must be taken into consideration:

1. Tie-rod adjustment
1.1 Screw FLUSHFIX® onto the tie-rod so that all the FLUSHFIX® threads are in contact with the shank (move the anvil, if necessary).
1.2 Place in the anvil in contact with the FLUSHFIX® head, then block the anvil in this position.

3. Setting force adjustment
Value defined for each FLUSHFIX® part number (see FLUSHFIX® data sheet). To achieve this setting force, it is necessary to adjust the crimping tool air pressure. To adjust this parameter, the positioning of a regulator upstream of the crimping tool is recommended. The necessary air pressure may vary, depending on the crimping tool used. To define the right pressure, please refer to the table below.
